Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers’ Party of
Korea and chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission, visited the Pukjung
Machine Complex and encouraged the workers who started the new-year production

He added that the management must run the factory with a scientific management
strategy, business strategy, to ensure the implementation of the principle of
profitability in production.
He hoped that the workers in Pukjung would fully discharge their role as
standard-bearers in carrying out the Party’s economic policy.
